Biography

Dr. Li graduated from University of California, Davis in 2006 with a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Geophysical Imaging. Dr. Li was also awarded at the same time a M.S. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from University of California, Davis in 2006 due to her multi-disciplinary research and abilities. Dr. Li has worked for earthquake engineering consulting industry for many years and a geophysical imaging company previously. She is currently working with a public agency. Dr. Li joined San Francisco State University in Spring 2015 as a part-time faculty. Currently, she teaches Seismic Hazard Analysis, and Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering. She is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers, Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, Seismological Society of America, and Society of Exploration Geophysicists. Dr. Li's research interests include Seismic Hazard Analysis, Earthquake Engineering, Seismology, and Geophysical Imaging.
