Part Time Position for Assistant Director of Industrial Assessment Center

Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) at San Francisco State University (SFSU) would like to hire an assistant director to help with technical work as well as administration of the Center. IAC is a US DOE sponsored project that provides energy efficiency, waste minimization and productivity improvement services to the industrial establishments, while fully engaging students to train as energy engineers. The School of Engineering at SFSU has managed the IAC for the past 30 years and has been awarded the contract to operate the Center for the next 5 years. This is a part-time position, has significant interactions with students and may involve some teaching and research assignments. A qualified candidate may be assigned to teach some energy related courses. Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering

The School of Engineering invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computer Engineering, beginning August 2022. The School seeks individuals with a specialty in the areas that include but are not limited to: computer architecture, including energy-efficient and/or high-performance computing systems; embedded systems; VLSI circuits and systems; reconfigurable computing; real-time operating systems (RTOS), including RTOS for robotics, automation; hardware and software for artificial intelligence and machine learning; and Internet-of-Things (IoT), including cyber-physical systems, IoT security and threat detection, and IoT for health, economic, and social equities; broad spectrum of computer hardware or software from system to physical layer. Strong candidates will be seriously considered regardless of their area of specialization.
