The Partnership for Public Service, in partnership with the San Francisco Federal Executive Board, is hosting a hiring fair to promote public service engineering careers in California.
This event will bring together federal agencies and universities to connect students and recent graduates to professional opportunities in the federal government. This program will include opportunities for students and recent graduates to learn about current federal job openings and internship opportunities, meet agency human resource representatives and receive one-on-one career counseling. Both during and leading up to the event, the Partnership will provide free public service career panels, resume and application workshops, and other programming to educate and prepare attendees to succeed in their federal job search.
OBJECTIVES
Through this initiative:
- Students and new professionals will have a unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about federal careers and accelerate their public service job search.
- University partners will build deeper connections with the public sector and other universities to create stronger pipelines for their students into government careers.
- Federal agencies will gain better access to entry-level and intern talent to meet public sector hiring needs in California.
