Associate professor of civil engineering, Dr. Zhaoshuo Jiang has just been awarded the 2022 Global Online Laboratory Consortium (GOLC) International Online Laboratory Award. The GOLC is a leading international group that brings together researchers and practitioners in all forms of online experimentation to advance the state of the art of the online laboratory field worldwide in all areas of education. Dr. Jiang's research lab has been working on a mobile remote laboratory, which provides students ubiquitous access to physical experiments with a real sense of in-person participation from anyway anytime using their mobile devices (e.g., smartphone, tablets, etc.).
