Biography
Dr. Sung Hu received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR. He has been a Professor of Engineering at San Francisco State University since 1980. Prior to joining SFSU, he was a tenured professor at Cleveland State University, Cleveland, OH. He has served as session chairs for numerous international conferences, reviewers for many professional journals and conferences, NSF grants, etc. and received many service awards. He is the author of more than 30 journal and conference publications. He has also served as a consultant to many high-tech companies and holds one US patent. Dr. Hu is a member of many honor societies and a life senior member of IEEE and Computer Society.
