BETH PACK SCHOLARSHIP for Electrical Engineering Students

ORIGINS:
The Beth Pack Memorial Scholarship was set up in 1991 to honor the contribution of Ms. Beth Pack toward IEEE San Francisco Section throughout her brilliant career.

AMOUNT:
Up to $1000 award money is available!
Recipients of the Beth Pack Scholarship will be invited to be Guests of Honor at the Annual IEEE San Francisco Section Dinner and Meeting in San Francisco in June.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Electrical Engineering major with junior or senior standing.
  • Active IEEE Student Branch member
  • Involvement in student branch activities at SFSU
  • Engineering grade point average of 2.75 or higher
  • Interested in continuing to serve the electrical engineering profession

The selection will be made after officers of the IEEE San Francisco Section conduct interviews will all applicants. Scholarship recipients' awards will be published in the IEEE newsletters, and recipients will receive commemorative certificates.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

  • Complete an application (available in SCI 163)
  • Attach an unofficial SFSU transcript
  • Attach your class schedule for the current semester.
  • Submit them all to the Engineering office by the deadline.
