New Leader Scholarship

The New Leader Scholarship was begun by the family of one of our faculty emerita, Dr. Ruth Goldman, and has supported a number of our students. Besides being very generous, up to $7000 per year, the scholarship provides extensive mentorship and professional development support. I encourage you to share this with promising students and assist them in preparing a competitive application. This scholarship is open to students in the bay area from public universities, so our students are in competition with students at UCB as well as SJSU, CSUEB and SSU. We do have a record of successful applicants and I believe we can continue that record.
