OYVIND K. OSEBERG MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP for Mechanical Engineering Students

Available to Mechanical Engineering Students

DESCRIPTION:
The Oseberg Scholarship was created to recognize an outstanding Mechanical Engineering student at San Francisco State. It was created by gifts from faculty and alumni in memory of Oyvind Knut Oseberg, Professor of Mechanical Engineering. The Oseberg Scholarship winner is announced at the annual Engineering Banquet in May. The Mechanical Engineering faculty members select the winner.

ELIGIBILITY:
Eligible students are those majoring in mechanical engineering that are seniors or in the second semester of the junior year (as determined by progress in engineering courses).

SELECTION CRITERIA:
The award will be made to a student who has shown high academic achievement and has also demonstrated significant service to the School of Engineering or the University.

HOW TO APPLY:
Obtain an application from the School of Engineering Office, SCI 163. Attach a current transcript and submit the completed application to the Engineering Office by the deadline.
