American Public Works Association Scholarship

The American Public Works Association (APWA) wishes to establish an endowed fund to support San Francisco State University Engineering students who are interested in pursuing a career in public works.
CRITERIA:

  • Declared Engineering Major of Upper Division
  • Good Academic Standing, PGA 2.5 and above.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and a Resident of Northern California.
  • Deserving from standpoint of financial need.

TO APPLY, SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:

  • Application Form (obtain from the Engineering Office, SCI 163)
  • 200 or more word essay "Why am I interested in pursuing a career in public works."
  • Current San Francisco State University transcripts.

SELECTION PROCESS:

  • Faculty will make the final selection.
  • Awards will be announced at the annual Engineering Society Banquet in May.
