Job title: Graduate and Undergraduate Student Assistant
Job Description:
- Visit various small to mid-size manufacturing plants with an audit team consisting of faculty members and other students to conduct energy and waste assessments.
- Perform measurements of thermal and electrical energy consumption of the entire plant.
- Evaluate waste generation and disposal methods.
- Conduct energy savings and economic analysis based on site measurements.
- Write a professional report for each audit, detailing the findings of the audit and recommending energy, waste, and productivity saving opportunities.

- First year status in the graduate program at SFSU.
- Majoring in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- GPA 3.00 or better in all graduate level courses.
- GPA 2.75 or better in all engineering undergraduate courses.
- Two references. (Faculty or job related)

Workload:
- Average of 10 hours per week and one full day of activity every two weeks.
