Instructionally Related Activities

Applications for IRA student travel (now through June) are now being accepted, and the application deadline is Thursday, February 28.

Not late application will be accepted.

At this point, we don’t know the exact amount of funds available. We are attaching the guidelines [84 KB] and an application form [677 KB] for your information. Even though the maximum allowable amount is $600 per student, the university has not been able to provide the maximum amount due to a large number of requests. Students who are able to receive support from departments or faculty grants should get support from other sources. For joint papers/posters, only one student will receive high priority consideration. Applications should be submitted to Debora in the Dean’s Office, TH 323. The request must include evidence that the student will be presenting a paper or a poster (i.e., an acceptance letter from the organizer) and endorsed by the chair. Please note that in order for the student to get reimbursements, student must pay for and has his/her name appear on receipts that are being reimbursed.
