Segment III Clusters for Engineering GE
The clusters which follow have been developed specifically for Engineering majors completing the Engineering version of SFSU’s GE requirements for graduation.
- The general requirements for Segment III are printed on page 2 of your Academic Progress Record Worksheet.
- Select one cluster. Special Requirements listed below must be followed very carefully.
You must choose both a Category A class and a Category B course in order to complete the cluster that you select. Category A is a course with a humanities component and Category B is a course with a biological component (necessary since Segment II for Engineering majors lacks 3 units of biological science and 3 units of humanities and creative arts to which students subject to the University GE are held).
